The location of this resort is simply stunning. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes in Cape Breton, you can't help but feel relaxed and at peace. The staff, particularly Judy, were always there to lend a helping hand and provide exceptional hospitality. The restaurant at the resort offers delicious food and the service is incredibly kind. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a wonderful vacation.

Some aspects of the facilities were not up to par.

The location of the resort is fabulous, set in a nice area with beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the view from our room, overlooking the woods and hearing the lovely sounds of the guitar player singing Cape Breton songs. The staff, especially Judy, was always there to assist us during the days leading up to the wedding.

The dining options were limited, with only one restaurant offering dinner.

The food, staff, and view were great. Good entertainment and pet-friendly. Convenient location with beautiful sunsets.

I recently stayed at Dundee Resort in beautiful West Bay for a weekend getaway. The location on the Bras d'Or Lakes was absolutely fabulous, offering breathtaking views. The variety of activities, from boating to the indoor/outdoor pool, made our stay enjoyable. The option to stay in a chalet with a deck and BBQ was a bonus. The staff was friendly and the food exceeded our expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find on-site laundry facilities available. Additionally, the proximity to the charming town of St. Peters made for some fun shopping experiences. My family and I would definitely return.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and basic amenities provided. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location of the hotel was nice and well maintained, with no shortage of good places to lounge and enjoy a book or read. I particularly enjoyed the included continental breakfast, which was delicious, except for the mixed fruit which looked like yesterday's.

During our recent stay at Dundee Resort, we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and tranquility of the location. The scenic views and lakeside setting provided a refreshing backdrop for our vacation. We particularly enjoyed the outside pool area, which was a great space to unwind and soak up the sun. The clean water made swimming a delight.

the cottages were in need of updating and lacked cleanliness. the floors were not properly cleaned upon arrival, and the shower grout in the bathroom was dirty and had mold.

The staff, dining, grounds, selection of boats, clean rooms and pools, comfortable bed.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The view from our cabin was breathtaking, with a stunning view of the lake. the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. We loved lounging by the indoor pool, and the outdoor pool looked inviting as well. It was great to have both options available.

Our cabin was small and uncomfortable, and the fold-out couch was a hassle to open due to limited space. the bed was not very comfortable either.

The main building, although a little dated, was clean and serviceable. We enjoyed a great dinner on our first night and the a la carte breakfast the following day was much better than the previous buffet. The golf course was wonderful, offering scenic views despite the fairways not being in the best condition at the end of the season. The staff was terrific, friendly, and accommodating, and our room was spacious, quiet. The grounds and gardens were attractive, and the pools were lovely.

my recent stay in west bay exceeded my expectations. the newly refurbished rooms were top-notch, with a superb view of the lake. the staff, especially deborah and caat, were incredibly helpful. the restaurant served delicious food with beautiful views.
