my check-in at howard Johnson was awesome. shavim was fantastic, letting us choose our room and giving great walking distance tips for the brewery and bowling alley. the property had nice upgrades like fresh paint and branded amenities. they swiftly changed my room when it smelt like smoke.

Room cleanliness was on point and the breakfast was a nice touch. cons: n/a 🙁.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and quick during check-in. They were nice both at night and in the morning. the location was perfect for my needs, being central and making it easy to get around Thunder Bay for work or leisure. the rates were reasonable, especially considering the ample parking available.
