My partner and I stayed at this lovely woodland retreat for a weekend getaway. The motel not only provided us with a cozy room, but also a range of activities like biking, hiking, and canoeing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the eco-friendly initiatives, such as rain barrels and the use of real plates and utensils at breakfast. The room itself had thoughtful touches like a hand-held shower head and a small bookshelf filled with books and magazines. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious food. the room was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, almost like a suite. swimming in the lake off the anchored raft was pleasant, providing a refreshing break from the summer heat.

The lack of a campfire due to the fire ban was a bummer, but I understand it was out of their control. the lake was a bit weedy around the edges, which made swimming from shore or off the boat dock unpleasant.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway at a lovely place in the woods. the room was cozy and clean, with a touch of old-style furniture that added to the charm. We loved the fact that they offered gluten-free options for breakfast, which made our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, surrounded by nature and offering activities like biking, hiking, and canoeing. It was a great place to relax and spend time with loved ones, creating wonderful memories.

The lack of cooking utensils to go with the microwave. It would have been helpful to have a few basics, but we understand the reasoning behind it.

Enjoyed the availability of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats, as well as the provided life jackets. the walking trails were a nice feature, although some maintenance was needed. It was great to have a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with nightly "campfires". the room was comfortable and had beautiful wooden furniture made by the owner. the breakfast offered was good.
