I had an amazing stay at this beautiful historic home! The bed was incredibly comfortable and my room had everything I needed, including a private bathroom, television, and mini-fridge. The highlight of my stay was definitely breakfast - Lois' cooking is out of this world! From homemade biscuits and jams to real maple syrup and homemade biscotti, every bite was a delight. We stayed at Gables for two nights while exploring the Blue Mountain area. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough rundown of our stay. The hosts were knowledgeable about local attractions and even provided snowshoes for our hike. The hot tub, which was set up and closed for us, was a relaxing treat. The saltwater pool was an added bonus. The full breakfast was delicious, with homemade hot meals and a variety of other options. The hosts made us feel like family and were always available to assist us.
