The front desk at Gold River Chalet was friendly and provided helpful local information. Their all-day hospitality room was a great bonus with coffee, tea, toast, and cereal available. The continental breakfast offered toast, juice, cereals, and coffee, which was more than sufficient.

The room could use some refreshing, with paint touch-ups and repairs to the window shades. The lack of screens on the windows was a minor inconvenience, but no insects came in during the stay.

My partner and I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a remote area. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond during a power outage caused by a storm. They made sure we had everything we needed and truly made our trip memorable. The owner was incredibly friendly and the room was clean and quiet, perfect for a good night's rest. Additionally, the breakfast room being open 24 hours a day with coffee, tea, and cereal was a great convenience. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

They had a nice breakfast spread and even had some complimentary snacks in the social room. the location was also pretty convenient, close to the dock and some good restaurants. Plus, my room had a great view of the water.

It barely worked in my room, and I had to go to the social room to get any kind of signal, which was pretty inconvenient. Plus, the whole place kinda smelled weird, not sure if it was the cleaning products or what.

As young holiday goers, we really enjoyed the friendly owner, spacious outdoor seating, and the quiet and clean room. The common room with free coffee and juice was a great bonus. The shower was good and the bed was comfy.

loved my stay at gold river chalet! staff was super helpful and the area was beautiful. the tour on the MV Uchuck was amazing - got to see how locals get their freight and learn about the area's history. the caves were also interesting. lots to do without spending money. great experience overall!
