our stay at hemingway's by the sea was fantastic. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. the room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. we loved the location, especially the nearby park for watching sunsets. highly recommend!

This hotel, located in a quiet residential neighborhood only about 10 minutes drive to downtown, offers great value for money. The rooms are cozy and clean, with big windows to look out at the view. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, with facilities like a private bathroom and grubby carpet. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was a highlight, with home made treats like bagels.

I had a great time staying at a charming B&B located on the edge of a Canadian forces base. The location was perfect as it was just a short drive to the center of the city. Hemingway's By The Sea had a convenient location, close to all the tourist attractions we wanted to see and the shopping center. It was situated by the center of the city, making it easy to explore. The public area of the house was welcoming and cozy, with a comfortable fireplace. The room we stayed in had a large ensuite bath and a small balcony, adding to our comfort and convenience.

The accommodations lacked a view of the sea, which was a disappointment.

Excellent hosts, great location, delicious breakfast, packed lunches, comfortable rooms.

Could not be improved in any way.

I had a wonderful stay at this unique B&B. The hotel facilities were cozy and full of character, giving it a personal touch that you don't find in sterile hotels. The location was perfect, with easy access to downtown Victoria and even places like Butchart Gardens up the peninsula. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The highlight for me was the delicious and varied breakfast, with homemade dishes and strong coffee. it was a delightful experience that provided a window into a less touristy side of this city.
