As a traveler staying at Hi Banff Alpine Centre, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided lots of information upon check-in. They even gave me a bus pass and towel, which was a nice touch. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds and some of the top bunks having easier-to-climb ladders. The showers were spacious and worked well, and having a toilet/sink in the room was convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the laundry facilities were a bonus. The hostel was clean and quiet, with a lovely fireplace in the common area. The location, nestled in the mountains, was peaceful and a short bus ride away from the city center.

The little restaurant offered a great breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation into town. I particularly appreciated that they were able to accommodate my request for a quieter room in the other building. it was a lovely stay with a lot of positive features.

The common areas were spacious and cozy, perfect for socializing and relaxing. the pancake breakfast at the restaurant and bar was delicious and affordable. - the location was great, less than a 30-minute walk to town.

The private room I booked turned out to be extremely small, with no space to move around if we left our suitcases at the bottom of the bed. Some of the staff had a sarcastic attitude, especially when I asked for a lift due to a broken back.

I recently stayed at the Alpine Centre in Banff for a few nights and had an amazing experience. We stayed in a cabin which was perfect for our needs. The hostel was not luxurious, but it was just what we needed for our couple of nights in town. Joining Hostel International saved us money and the staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen had plenty of room to cook and store food. The restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. The private room was a good size, though it was a bit warm. the hostel had a great atmosphere and was close to hiking trails.

The location of the hostel is a bit far from the downtown core, but there is a convenient bus that takes you into town. The rooms are clean and have individual storage lockers, and each bed has a lamp and a shelf for personal items. The hostel also has a kitchen where you can cook your own food and a restaurant with good options.

The price at the hostel was higher than advertised, making it more expensive than nearby hotels with better amenities.

Nothing not to love.

As a young couple from Barcelona, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hi Banff Alpine Centre. The chalet cabin was clean, bright, and offered great value for a private space. Although there were no in-room amenities, the communal kitchen and laundry room had everything we needed. The cafe and bar had affordable prices, and the friendly staff made our experience even better. The location was convenient, and the free bus service made it easy to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again for the unbeatable value.
