The cleanliness of the hostel exceeded our expectations, and the overall cozy feel made us immediately feel at home. The large living area was a great space to relax after a long day of exploring. The hostel facilities were excellent, offering games and a fireplace for evening relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided great communication and service. They took the time to chat with guests and offer helpful advice. The location of this hostel, nestled in the middle of the forest, was perfect. We even had the opportunity to see a black bear right from the kitchen area.

Just returned from an amazing stay at a hostel in a perfect location! the living room area was spacious and cozy, complete with a fireplace. It was conveniently situated between Lake Louise and Downtown Banff, making it ideal for exploring the area if you have a car. the hostel was only a 5-minute drive from the breathtaking Johnston Canyon hikes, which I highly recommend doing early in the morning. Despite my delayed flight, the hostel staff were accommodating and even arranged for my linens to be ready upon my late arrival. a fantastic experience at a reasonable price!

The location was perfect, being outside the touristy center but still close to Banff and Lake Louise. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing romantic escape at this cozy hostel in the Canadian Rockies. the self-catering facilities were excellent, allowing us to prepare our own meals and enjoy a romantic dinner together. the location was also perfect, with easy access to Banff, Yoho, and Kootenay national parks. We loved exploring the beautiful wilderness during the day and coming back to this comfortable and welcoming hostel in the evenings.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. It was a bit challenging to find the hostel, as there were no clear indications on the highway.

The location was ideal for accessing the Rockies and escaping the tourist crowds in Banff. The self-catering facilities were clean and convenient, making it easy to prepare my own meals. And I can't forget to mention the amazing Hostel Warden who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

It felt almost like being at home, with nothing being too much trouble.
