The location was perfect for accessing cross country ski trails right from the parking lot. The cleanliness of the hostel was outstanding, making it one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in. The manager was very sweet and helpful, adding to the cozy and relaxing vibe of the place. The hostel provided a wilderness experience with modern comforts, including a big kitchen and lounge area. Plus, I got to see deers in the garden at dusk, which was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay away from the crowds.

the hostess at Hi Kananaskis Wilderness was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain a lot about the area. She even arranged for an evening campfire, which was a great experience. the hostel itself was very clean, including the showers and bathrooms, which were well-equipped. the beds were comfortable and we were provided with clean linens and towels. the location of the hostel was also beautiful, surrounded by stunning hikes, lakes, and waterfalls.

The location, right next to the beautiful Ribbon Creek, was absolutely stunning. the rooms and shared spaces were all clean, cosy, and fully functional. Anita, the hostel owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel relaxed and at home. This has definitely become our favorite hostel in the Alberta Rockies. We had a fantastic time exploring the area with great hikes, lakes, and waterfalls.

I recently stayed at Hi Kananaskis Wilderness - Hostel for a few nights and had an incredible experience. My main purpose of travel was to explore the cross country ski trails, and this hostel offered easy access right from the parking lot. The cleanliness of the hostel was outstanding, making it one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. The staff were informative and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The spacious and rustic setting added to the cozy feel, and the kitchen, washroom, and shower facilities were all adequate. The highlight for me was the friendly and accommodating attitude of Louis, who made my stay even more fantastic. The woods, mountain views, cabin-like hostel, well-equipped kitchen, fireplace in the lounge, and free snowshoe rental were all delightful surprises. my expectations were exceeded and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

One of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed in. the lounge with the real wood fire was cozy and perfect for the winter. - Good location for variety of activities, both in winter and summer. - the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. - the outdoor fire-pit was a nice addition.

The switch for the room light was located outside the room, which could be inconvenient. Some guests didn't respect other people's space and were loud, particularly late at night.

We had an amazing stay at the Kananaskis Wilderness Hostel! It was great value for money, with a cozy and clean room, and beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location is stunning, situated right next to a beautiful creek. The rooms and shared spaces were clean, functional, inviting, and cosy. The staff, especially Anita, were warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home. They were friendly, patient, and accommodating, as we arrived later than expected. The hostel offered excellent facilities and amenities, and we especially appreciated the wealth of knowledge that Jaamie had about local hikes. this has become our favorite hostel in the area.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the cutest hostel in the woods. The cozy and relaxing vibes were just what we needed. The manager was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The hostel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen was well-equipped and the shower and toilets were clean. Excellent value for money. The cabin was lovely, with excellent facilities and a knowledgeable host. We can't wait to come back with our kids next time!
