We stayed at this charming B&B while exploring the beautiful St Lawrence East. The country atmosphere and warm welcome were just what we were looking for. The communal area was perfect for meeting fellow guests, and the insect screens on the windows were a great relief from the mosquitoes. The mountain views from the veranda were breathtaking, and the breakfast, especially the croissants, was delicious. The hosts, Claude and Julie, were incredible musicians and their homemade treats were divine. The location was ideal for day trips, and our 9-year-old had a blast with all the activities available. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We wanted to explore the area east of Quebec City and stayed at L'Aubergine for a few nights. The location was perfect, as we were able to easily access Parc des Hautes Gorges and Parc des Grands Jardins. The hotel itself had a lovely view of the garden and mountains, and it was very quiet. Our room was spacious, well-isolated, and the hot water was excellent. The kitchen and breakfast options were great, and the owners were kind and accommodating. a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

Located near two beautiful national parks, hiking enthusiasts will be delighted with the convenience of staying at L'Aubergine. With easy access to Grands-Jardins and Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie, outdoor adventures are just a stone's throw away. Guests can enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding mountains from the garden and take advantage of the amenities available, including comfortable communal/breakfast room and a fun recreational room with a 70s feel in the barn.

Regrettably, the payment method could be inconvenient as the hotel only accepts cash, leaving guests with a bit of a hassle to find the nearest ATM, which is around a 30 minute drive away.

Great location for exploring nearby National Parks. Our hosts were kind and accommodating, even with our late arrival. the outdoor amenities, including the garden, chairs, tables, and firepit, were a nice touch. the breakfast, although on the simple side, was appreciated, especially the homemade breads and jams.
