This hotel is absolutely lovely with beautiful views overlooking the river. The location is secluded and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy, such as the tennis courts, basketball, and kayaks. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and cozy, and we especially loved having a deck overlooking the water.

That some parts of the hotel were in need of renovation, with some areas looking a little tired.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled on the banks of a beautiful river. The views from the sliding glass doors are simply breathtaking. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Although the rooms were a bit dated, they were spotlessly clean and provided a cozy atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable, making it great value for money.

We had an amazing dinner at Liscombe Lodge Resort & Conference Centre. The food was exceptional, and the restaurant really exceeded our expectations. The lodges were also comfortable and provided a pleasant stay.

The private balcony overlooking the river was a nice feature, as well as the free use of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the local dishes. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable amenities. The beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms made for a relaxing and calming atmosphere. The presence of animals for the kids to see was a bonus.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, remote resort on a stunning river. The location was perfect for our family, as my boys loved fishing and had some great luck. We also enjoyed a fantastic private boat tour with our amazing captain, Chester, who shared his knowledge of the area with us. The meals and activities were top notch, and the staff made us feel welcome and valued. Our suite was clean and had AC, although we might choose the chalets next time. The kids had a blast with all the amenities like tennis courts, basketball, kayaks, and the recreation room. There was something for everyone to enjoy!

Beautiful scenery with a lot of greenery, breathtaking views of the river. The cabins were cozy and had a fireplace. It created a comfortable and warm ambience. I also enjoyed the animals on the property, it was nice to see them up close.

Old and outdated hotel facilities, the room was not as clean as it should have been. The staff had poor customer service and didn't attend to guests' needs.

The location was stunning, with breathtaking scenery and the opportunity to watch hummingbirds from the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the dinner was excellent. The setting by the river offered a great view of various birds and the meals were delicious. We also enjoyed a private boat tour with an informative boat captain who showed us the beautiful surrounding area. The suite we stayed in was clean and had AC. The recreation options like tennis courts, basketball, kayaks, and a recreation room kept both kids and adults entertained. We can't wait to return!

This hotel is truly a gem on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia. The location is simply breathtaking, situated right on the river just above a waterfall. The rooms offer a great view of the water, and some even come with a balcony, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, taking pride in providing excellent service. Basic amenities are provided, including effective A/C to ensure a comfortable stay. And the complimentary breakfast, with its lovely view of the river, is the perfect way to start the day.

As adventure travelers, we loved the variety of activities available at Liscombe Lodge Resort. From fishing on the river to private boat tours, there was something for everyone. The staff, including our knowledgeable boat captain Chester, made our experience even more enjoyable. The dining room offered excellent food choices and quality, with menus that catered to all tastes. We also appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and stunning setting of the resort. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, and we especially loved the cozy cottage with a fireplace and the beautiful view from the decks. The Liscombe River Hike was a great adventure, although a few more bridges across the wet areas would have been helpful.
