I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in a central location for exploring Cape Breton. The view of the lake was pretty, and the property was clean and well-maintained. Despite being on the highway, the cottages were quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The modern decor was a nice touch, and the private deck and barbecue for each cottage were convenient. The family run atmosphere added to the charm of the place. I had a great experience and would recommend this place for a Cape Breton getaway.

Our stay at McIntyre's Cottages was absolutely worth the money. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a beautiful view of Bras d'Or Lake. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the Cabot Trail on both sides of Cape Breton Island's coast.

One small improvement would be to have a wider variety of breakfast items.

The cabin was beautifully decorated and comfortable, perfect for a family with 2 small kids. The view and location were amazing, especially for exploring the Cabot Trail. The separate bedrooms provided privacy and the cottage had everything we needed.

The cottages can be noisy due to their proximity to the highway, especially when sitting on the deck. The kitchen is poorly equipped, making it difficult to cook for larger groups.

We had a fantastic stay at McIntyre's Cottages. the property was well-maintained and had a great view. the location was perfect for exploring the picturesque Baddeck area. the check-in service was super friendly and we appreciated the excellent payment method options. the cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our group of five. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience, especially sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee. We loved having separate bedrooms and the host was incredibly helpful and honest. we had a wonderful time and would definitely book again for our next trip to Cape Breton.

Set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Bras D'or lake, the location of the cottage provides a stunning view. The cottages themselves are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities. Guests have their own private decks and barbecues. The owners are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. There are also great dining options nearby such as Bell Buoy and the Telegraph House, perfect for a delicious meal after a day of exploring.

The walls in the duplex cottages are quite thin, which means you may be able to hear noise from neighboring guests.

I had a fantastic stay at a cozy cottage in Baddeck. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The location was peaceful and close to town, making it easy to explore the Cabot Trail. The staff were friendly, helpful, and even let us use their heated garage to fix our broken truck.

The food for breakfast could have been better.
