I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with everything just down the hill. The service and housekeeping were exceptional. The room amenities were impressive, with ironing facilities, a cozy sitting area, and a lovely terrace with garden furniture. Located down the hill, the Mecklenburgh Inn is conveniently close to everything you need. The rooms are beautifully decorated with character and warmth, making your stay comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The host, Suzi, is a great conversationalist and chef, serving delicious and satisfying breakfasts. The vintage furnishings and charming exterior add to the overall appeal. Additionally, the inn offers a large patio with a picturesque view to enjoy.

One negative aspect is the lack of a TV in some rooms, which may disappoint guests looking for entertainment options.

We recently went on a romantic escape and had the most wonderful time. the cozy room was beautifully decorated and the freshly-baked muffins were a delightful treat. What we enjoyed the most was the perfect location of the hotel—within walking distance to scenic vistas and amazing restaurants. the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.

The only minor issue was the breakfast, which only consisted of coffee and toast. But considering we were able to enjoy the amazing restaurants in the area, it really wasn't a big issue.

This hotel is in a perfect location, just a 5-minute bike ride from the rail trail and within walking distance of all the attractions in the town. There are also two great restaurants nearby. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with lovely amenities like house coats and chocolates. The host, Suzi, is very engaging and made one of the best home-cooked breakfasts I have ever had. She is also very helpful and provided great recommendations for sightseeing and activities.
