We had a unique stay in a beautiful historical house with a welcoming host. The accommodations were comfortable and we enjoyed the access to the kitchen and multiple seating areas. The location was quiet and centrally located. I would recommend this hotel.

Monroe House was my favorite place to stay in Newfoundland. The room was nice, the bathroom huge with an amazing multi-headed shower. It was pretty nice to have access to the whole house. We used the kitchen, dining room and the little sitting room outside our room on the third floor.

The location of the guest house was ideal, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood near downtown. We were able to easily access the East Coast Trail and explore the stunning southern coast. The room and bathroom were comfortable and well-maintained. The service provided by the host was exceptional, offering valuable recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The kitchen and dining facilities were top-notch, allowing us to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The peaceful, leafy street added to the overall charm and tranquility of the guest house.

The lack of on-site staff made it slightly inconvenient when dealing with minor issues like servicing the AC unit or getting instructions for TV operations.

The facilities were amazing! the large rooms were filled with antique furniture and the beds were comfortable. the location was perfect for my needs, with easy access to key areas of the city. I really enjoyed having access to a huge kitchen where I could cook whatever I wanted.

The lack of personal interaction with the staff was disappointing. I was told no one would meet me at the venue and I only met a member of the cleaning staff as I was leaving.

As low-budget travelers, we absolutely loved the location of the Monroe House Executive Guest Suites. It was within walking distance to Signal Hill and downtown restaurants, perfect for exploring the area without spending on transportation.

Felt snug, no complaints whatsoever.
