The holiday spirit was the only nice thing about this place. They had Christmas cookies in the lobby and a Christmas tree, which was the only sign of festivity in this bleak hotel.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, we got a lot of bang for our buck! The room was like a mini suite with a separate bedroom and living room, plus a jacuzzi to kick back in. The staff treated us like VIPs from the moment we checked in and the location was perfect, especially being so close to the zoo.

The only thing that could've made breakfast better was more options for dietary preferences, especially since they include it in the package.

We had a great stay at Monte Carlo Inn & Suites Downtown. The pool was well-maintained, and the continental breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. I recommend this hotel.
