I had a very quiet and comfortable stay at Motel Cabano-Relais. After a long 8-hour drive, I was relieved to find a clean and comfortable room to relax and rest. The coffee machine in the room was a bonus, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Having a microwave and fridge in the room was also convenient. Although I'm allergic to air fresheners, I was able to remove it, and the room was very clean without the need for extra fragrance. I felt safe and secure during my solo travel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a pleasant 1 km walk to the village and the beautiful Témiscouata lake. The lake is surrounded by hills and has lovely little beaches, making it a great spot for relaxation. Plus, from one of the beaches, you can catch a ferry to a nearby Sépaq national park. The hotel facilities were great too, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee station in the room. The staff, especially the friendly Quebec woman at reception, were helpful and ensured I had a pleasant stay.

We only needed a clean place to lay our heads for the night and shower so this was fine. It is small but adequate. Wifi was slow to non-existent. Did not use TV but it should be raised higher than sitting on a dresser type unit. Missed having a way to make tea in the morning as there isn't a coffee pot etc. but that was not promised either so you get what you pay for.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The only improvement for breakfast would be to have a coffee pot or tea-making facilities available for guests.

During my recent stay at Motel Cabano-Relais, I was impressed with the convenient location. Being situated next to a beautiful bike trail system and having easy access to a nearby lake for kayaking made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, there were some great restaurants in the town and the hotel was conveniently close to the highway.

One minor inconvenience was the absence of light filtering curtains in the rooms. While there were blackout curtains, I personally appreciate both sunlight and privacy, so having the option of light filtering curtains would have been ideal.

The staff, particularly the receptionist, a friendly Quebec woman, was in a great mood and made our experience even more enjoyable. They were helpful and accommodating, leaving the room open for us when we arrived after 10pm due to a ferry delay.
