The original fireplace in the bar area added a touch of warmth to our evening. The resort offers various activities like canoeing and paddleboarding, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We can't wait to return for a longer stay next time. we highly recommend this resort for a peaceful getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beach resort near Pictou, Nova Scotia, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that immediately put me at ease.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as limited Wi-Fi coverage and occasional noise from other guests, these were overshadowed by the many positives of my stay.

The location near the beach allowed for peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. Additionally, the resort offered free use of row boats, paddle boats, boards, and kayaks.

The bathroom was small and outdated, with dusty blinds and a slippery floor when wet.

Beautiful property, excellent service, and great food. Main lodge with bar and restaurant, good-sized rooms and bathrooms, quiet and clean. Easy drive to ferry terminal. Many activities for children, self-contained and safe. Incredible view, surprised by warm water and clean beach.

The lodge had a beautiful, rustic log-cabin style that gave off a cozy and nostalgic vibe. the dining room had an amazing view of the ocean and a pond, perfect for watching the sunset. Plus, the food was delicious, especially the maple butter biscuits and fried apple pie dessert. the location was also great, just a 5-minute drive to the ferry, making it convenient for exploring nearby areas.

The room we stayed in was like a typical motel room and lacked privacy from the neighboring rooms. There was a funky smell in the room that resembled body odor, although the staff did offer to move us to a different room.

The rocks off shore provide a picturesque backdrop while relaxing on the beachfront. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering modern amenities such as TV and WiFi. The staff provides excellent service and the onsite restaurant serves delicious meals.
