our city break at doubletree by hilton was outstanding - excellent views, friendly staff, and close to all the attractions and hiking trails. we loved the spacious rooms and the convenient location near the harbour. can't wait to come back!

Room cleaning was missed.

Great location for exploring downtown St. John's, with easy access to nearby attractions. The room was comfortable and quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided was a nice start to the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a pleasant stay at Doubletree By Hilton.

The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing easy access to all the tourist sites in the area. We were able to walk to all the major attractions and it was close to everything there is to see in the city. Additionally, being situated just outside of downtown meant that we were far enough away to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, free from the noise and chaos of the city center.

There were some issues with our room.

Some rooms did not have the promised view of a historic site. the service could be improved, as some guests experienced issues with housekeeping not changing towels or sheets during their stay.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the superb view of the harbor that comes with some of the rooms. The location is also a big plus, as it is within walking distance of downtown and conveniently situated on the waterfront. The staff is attentive and the basic amenities are well-maintained. As women traveling alone, the front desk staff at this hotel were excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel was very clean despite ongoing renovations. The bed in our room was comfortable. The breakfast at the restaurant, although not complimentary, was very good. The view of the harbor from the restaurant was also a nice bonus.

The hotel was not clean, with stains on the carpet and the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. the mattresses were old and uncomfortable.

The staff is courteous and attentive to details, such as keeping the rooms with a view of a historic site very clean. Breakfast is included in the rate, making it even more worth it.

The hotel could improve noise levels, especially during sports events.

my recent stay in st. john's was made even better by doubletree. the modern room with a harbor view was impressive, and the staff went above and beyond. watching the activity in the harbor was a highlight, and the restaurant meals were delicious. would definitely stay here again.

Wifi was non-existent in my room.
