Lovely older establishment on Hwy. 132. Charming room with AC, nice balcony overlooking Baie du Chaleur. Quick check-in, very accommodating staff. Restaurant Kano serves delicious food. Great outdoor patio, fridge for coolers, and comfortable seating. Excellent breakfast with generous portions and top-notch service.

First of all, let me start by saying that the location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. Situated right on the waterfront, it offers breathtaking views of the Bay des Chaleurs. Waking up to such a stunning sight was definitely a highlight of my stay.

All in all, there was nothing about my experience at this hotel that I could fault. Every aspect, from the location to the service, exceeded my expectations.

We stayed at Riotel in Bonaventure for one night while traveling from Gaspe to Quebec. The location on the shore provided stunning views of Chaleur Bay, especially on a sunny evening. The updated and clean rooms, without any carpet, were comfortable and inviting. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant Kano, with a chef who was knowledgeable about gluten allergies and provided options for us.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

The Riotel Bonaventure had a prime waterfront location, which offered a stunning view of Chaleur Bay. The compact yet clean and comfortable rooms made for a pleasant stay. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the knowledge and accommodation of the chef at the restaurant Kano. Although there was no specific gluten-free menu, the chef was aware of food allergies and provided guidance on gluten-free options. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful, enhancing our dining experience.

Felt very well taken care of, no complaints at all.

The hotel room was decorated well and had a comfortable bed. the breakfast was delicious and included in the room price. the hotel had a great view of the sea and beach, which was perfect for sleeping to the sound of the waves.

There were a few things in the room that were not clean, such as used soap with hair in it, tissues on the floor, and dirty cups. This made it hard to trust the cleanliness of the rest of the room.
