Our stay at The Spot At Porpoise Bay was a great value for our money. The room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable for our short overnight stay. We particularly enjoyed the location right on the water. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast menu could be improved with the addition of freshly brewed coffee.

The room at The Spot was spacious and had a great view of the marina. It was convenient to have a sofa in the room for comfortable TV watching. The bed was firm but still comfortable. The location was ideal with a good pub right next door and a lovely marsh just across the street. it offered good value for the price.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaints at all.

our stay at the spot was even better than our last visit to sechelt. the renovated room was clean and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. the location was perfect and the nearby pub served delicious food. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at a motel near Porpoise Bay. The location was perfect for our visit with friends in the area, and the view of the bay was absolutely lovely. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the motel, as it provided a peaceful retreat during our stay. despite a few minor drawbacks, we would recommend this motel for its convenient location and tranquil setting.

The rooms were always kept clean, and the small kitchenette was a great feature. The parking was convenient, and there is a lovely walking path around the marshland nearby. it was a wonderful stay.

Great location with beautiful views of Porpoise Bay and the marina. The rooms with kitchenettes are perfect for a solo traveler or couple. The bed is comfortable and the room is cleaned daily with fresh towels and amenities. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a bird sanctuary pond marshland nearby for nature lovers. The restaurant next door, The Lighthouse, serves excellent food and offers a stunning view of the bay.

December at the Spot At Porpoise Bay was a mixed bag for me. I had a wonderful holiday experience, thanks to the helpful and friendly staff. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs, allowing me to check in early and providing a safe place to store my luggage. the location of the hotel was also a highlight, with a lovely view of the bay and a quiet atmosphere that created a relaxing holiday ambiance.

There were a few downsides to my experience. Some rooms lacked basic amenities, such as a nightstand on both sides of the bed, which was a bit inconvenient.

the room was clean and had great amenities like a fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even when guests locked themselves out of their rooms. the location was excellent and easy to find, with a lovely view from the window. I was pleasantly surprised by this motel and would definitely go there again.

The room had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. The housekeeping service was excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the nearby Sechelt village business center. The view from our window was interesting and peaceful, and the late check-in option was a great convenience. We also loved the lovely walking path around the marsh, perfect for bird-watching and some great photo opportunities.

The spacious room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely contemporary style decor. It was also very quiet, despite being near a busy road. The hotel facilities were great, including the bar at the entry which was a perfect place to chill. The location was superb, as it was just a few minutes walk to the train station and well-connected to transportation options. Breakfast was a gourmet feast, catering even for gluten-free options. The staff were very kind and provided outstanding service throughout our stay.

I recently stayed at The Spot At Porpoise Bay for a solo bike tour and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, nestled next to a marina in a quiet area, yet still close to the city center. The renovated room was beautiful, with a spacious layout and a lovely view of the waterfront and birds. The comfortable beds and adjustable heat in each area added to the overall comfort. I also appreciated the proximity to Harbour Air and the convenience of having The Lighthouse Pub/Buccaneers right next door. Great value and would definitely stay again!

The bed was comfortable and the location was nice, with a view of the marina in the back. I also appreciated having a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, which made it convenient for storing and preparing food and drinks.

The staff was unfriendly and the building was old and run-down. the room smelled of mold and there were stains on the carpet and damage on the walls.
