I recently had a fantastic getaway at a charming hotel on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and beautiful spring blossoms. I enjoyed taking leisurely walks along Whiffen Spit, which offered great views of the surrounding area. The hotel itself was bright and cheerful, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were luxurious, with amazing amenities such as in-floor heat, a wood-burning fireplace, and even a round bathtub on the ocean-view deck. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was top-notch, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. it was a pampering experience in a beautiful setting that I can't wait to return to.

The dining service, although generally good, could be a bit slow at times.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, with stunning ocean views from our room's patio where we enjoyed breakfast in the sun. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was outstanding, with the staff and chef going above and beyond to accommodate our food preferences and restrictions. The room itself was amazing, with a wood-burning fireplace and a luxurious bed. We loved observing the deer grazing below our deck and the playful seals in the ocean. The mist rising through the herb and vegetable gardens added a touch of tranquility to our stay.

loved the cozy Copper Room restaurant, staff & food. breakfast in the sunroom with local bacon & otter sightings was spectacular. comfy bed, wood fireplace. beautiful setting by the ocean with resident deer. quirky artistic touches, felt like a private B&B. can't wait to return!

The view from our window was perfect and the weather was beautiful. The wood fireplace in our delightful room was a cozy touch. The bed was wonderful and the themed decor added a cool vibe. We enjoyed the drinks in the Copper lounge and the food was delightful. We also loved hiking in the nearby parks.

sooke harbour house impressed us beyond expectations on our romantic getaway. spacious, beautiful rooms with cozy fireplace and stunning views. perfect balance of luxury and outdoor adventure. can't wait to return!

slow service at restaurant

Great value for the money paid, with a light and spacious room, verandah, sea view, and even deer in the garden. The location was unbeatable, right on the end of the spit for a refreshing walk, and the staff, especially Isis, were warm and efficient.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, as we were not offered the complimentary breakfast that was advertised.

We absolutely loved our city break at this hotel! the views from our room were incredible - we could see harbor seals and sea otters right from our balcony. the tranquility of the area made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. the restaurant on the grounds was a standout, offering farm-to-table cuisine and a delightful Northwest Coast decor. the original art and extensive library added a unique touch to our experience. We can't wait to come back!
