We had a fantastic experience at Super 8. Housekeeping kept everything clean and tidy throughout our week-long stay. the manager was impressive, handling a situation with some young adults who smoked in their room in a professional manner. They were charged accordingly for the cleaning cost, but the manager still treated them with respect. the location of the hotel was convenient, situated in a prime spot in Ajax close to the highway and other east-west roads. This made it easy for us to explore all the tourist attractions in Durham region and Toronto. the nearby beaches and summer activities in Oshawa were perfect for our kids, and the hotel's security was excellent.

The staff was friendly and personable upon check-in. the room had a nice big bathroom with a shower. the room was tastefully decorated and had a fridge, which was convenient for travelers. the continental breakfast offered bagels, pastries, coffee, and juice. the lady working in the breakfast room was very pleasant.

There was traffic noise from outside and some people talking loudly in the hallway in the morning. there was an extra Destination Marketing Fee charged, which I felt was a cash grab.
