The highlight of our stay at The Saint James Hotel, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member, was the fantastic location. We were just minutes away from all the attractions and restaurants we wanted to visit. The hotel itself had a great atmosphere and provided convenient parking next door. Our room was spacious with all the amenities we needed, and the fresh breakfast in the morning was a great start to our day. The staff at the front desk, except for one individual, were always helpful and polite. Despite the minor issue with the staff member, our overall experience was lovely, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

As longer term business travellers, we loved the great location near Toronto attractions and the friendly and helpful staff. The big, comfortable bed with lots of pillows and fast WiFi were fantastic. Having a coffee machine in the room was a bonus. Despite being Downtown, the hotel was surprisingly peaceful at night.

I had a great stay at The Saint James Hotel. I was there for three nights and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a nice design. The king bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and had a fantastic rain shower. The location was convenient for shopping and close to the Village for good bars and restaurants. a fantastic hotel with great value for money.

I recently stayed at the Ascend Hotel in Toronto for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel had a simple and stylish design, with a spacious and comfortable room. The huge king bed was a dream to sleep in, and the natural lighting and proper shutters made for a peaceful night's rest. The bathroom was also spacious and had a fantastic rain shower. I appreciated the additional amenities in the room, such as a fridge, microwave, iron, and coffee-tea machine. The staff at the hotel were extremely kind and helpful, creating a welcoming and personalized experience. The location was convenient for shopping on Yonge Street and also close to the vibrant Village area for dining and entertainment. it was a fantastic hotel with great value for money.

As young holiday goers, we absolutely loved the large and comfortable rooms. The rainforest shower head in the spacious bathroom was a fantastic touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the 24/7 self-serve espresso/coffee machine in the lobby and the refreshing lemon-infused ice water. The breakfast from the in-house restaurant offered delicious choices. The hotel's location was convenient for public transit and sightseeing. The parking next door was affordable, making it easier for us to explore the area.

We had a great Christmas stay with two unexpected freebies, cookies and hot cocoa in the lobby and a surprise visit from Santa with gifts. the hotel was close to fantastic restaurants and shopping, which made it very convenient for us to explore the area. the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations.

The noise level in the morning, with some construction work happening nearby. It was a bit disruptive to our sleep, but we were able to put up with it.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location is perfect – right in the downtown area, close to major tourist sites. It's also in a quiet neighborhood, so no disturbances at night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel warmly welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you could need. One highlight was the working air conditioner, which was a lifesaver on the lower floors during the hot weather. Additionally, the breakfast offered a great variety of options, including delicious burritos from the Freshii store, and it was included in the price of the stay.

This hotel is perfect for those who want to ride the subway and streetcars around central Toronto, as it is conveniently located near the start/end of the hop on/off bus route. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with ridiculously comfortable beds. The hotel is also very quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful.
