We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was stunning, right on the waterfront with breathtaking sunsets. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also loved the rustic pub, currently undergoing renovations, which added to the charm of this place. a great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The service at both the dining room and the pub was exceptionally slow, and the food was quite mediocre. the lack of air conditioning in the rooms made it difficult to sleep, particularly on hot nights.

Wifi connection was unreliable.

Blown away by the stunning location and cozy rooms with comfortable bedding and pillows. The walkability to the ocean and its sights was a major plus. Although the food took a while to be served, the view while waiting made up for it. The staff kept us informed and were friendly throughout our stay. poor soundproofing and limited hooks for hanging clothes were minor inconveniences.

For the price we paid, we got great value - comfy room with a fridge and chair, and the ambience of the old lodge with the soothing sound of the ocean at night.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had a kettle or microwave to make a cup of tea.

The room was much smaller than expected, especially the bathroom. the shower stall was incredibly cramped, making it difficult to move around.

My stay at The Surf Lodge And Pub was pleasant and enjoyable. The cozy room and beautiful view from my window created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I loved listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean. The lodge is conveniently located near the ferry, a coffee shop, and a food market, making it convenient for exploring the area. The dining room served a delicious meal, and the indoor and outdoor dining areas offered lovely views. I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

There were a few drawbacks to my stay. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, which affected my quality of sleep.
