The location of this hotel is perfect, right downtown and close to many restaurants and places of interest. It's great for walking around and towards Lake Ontario. Additionally, the hotel offers a riverside outdoor patio, a more formal inside dining area, and our favorite, the barside casual area with inviting wing back chairs.

We checked in for Christmas, and while the hotel had really nice decorations and a cozy vibe, that was pretty much the only thing that made our stay worthwhile. the room was spacious and clean, and it had a nice view of the surrounding area and river. We also appreciated the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby and the fact that the wifi was free.

That's where the good things ended. the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, especially when we needed directions to find something to eat for dinner.
