The tranquility of the surroundings at Trout Point Lodge was absolutely amazing. Being surrounded by nature and the sound of the river was so peaceful and rejuvenating. We also loved the variety of activities available, like hiking and swimming in the river. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, definitely a highlight of our stay. Despite a few minor issues, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The lodge is beautiful and the staff is excellent. The location is convenient for catching the ferry. The rooms are comfortable, with the added treat of a wood burner in some rooms. The surroundings are peaceful, with the sound of a wonderful stream nearby. The hotel facilities include outdoor activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, and a wood-heated hot tub by the river. The staff is very helpful and the food is delicious. The small group evening meals provide an opportunity to meet interesting and pleasant people.

Nothing to fault.

The scenery was breathtaking, and the wildlife was incredible. We were able to see some of the most rare and exotic animals that we had only ever heard about in books and documentaries. What made the experience even better was the ease of exploring the remote, off-the-map location. We were also surprised with how friendly and hospitable the locals were. They gave us great tips on where to spot the wildlife and where to find the best local food.

The accommodations were subpar, to say the least. the rooms were unclean, with dirty floors and stained sheets.

From the exclusive amenities in our room to the outdoor dining area overlooking stunning surroundings, every aspect was top-notch. the service was exceptional, with staff attending to our needs promptly and courteously. the location was secluded and provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We particularly enjoyed the private facilities, which added to our overall experience.

While it was a fantastic addition to the hotel, we found that it could have been maintained better.

Pet-friendly and Helpful Staff: They warmly welcomed my small dog and treated him like a paying customer. They even offered to dog sit if needed. the staff was friendly and informative, making our stay more enjoyable.

Bug Infestation and Noisy Fan: Our room was infested with bugs and there were cobwebs with spiders. the screens on the windows had gaps, allowing bugs to enter.
