We had a fantastic time at Windermere! The view from our balcony was breathtaking, and the cozy ambiance of the Inn made us feel right at home. The breakfast at the main dining room was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Despite a few minor issues, overall I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location right by the lake was absolutely stunning. We loved sitting in the Muskoka chairs and enjoying the picturesque view. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and we recognized some familiar faces from our previous visits. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds, and we appreciated the added amenities like ironing facilities and air conditioning. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast options were plentiful. the service and quality of this hotel were top-notch.

The faucet water pressure was quite low, which was a bit inconvenient.

We were delighted to discover that Windermere House has undergone new management, and it truly shows in the improvements. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was attentive to our every need. The new leadership in the dining room ensured that the breakfast buffet was constantly refreshed and the wait staff was professional. We particularly appreciated the comfortable seats on the veranda, where we could relax with a glass of wine and take in the beautiful scenery. The fact that the chef personally addressed our concerns about a salad in the Pub restaurant impressed us. The presence of more mature employees focused on customer service made a noticeable difference. The addition of door greeters at the reception entrance was a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a great family holiday.
