We stayed at Cascada De Las Animas for a few days and absolutely loved it. The unique vibe of the place is a perfect blend of environmentally conscious hipster, countryside holiday home, camping adventure, research and education center, and luxury resort. The Suite Borde Rio, where we stayed, was beautifully designed with a private deck overlooking the river and mountains. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable with top-notch sheets and pillows. The breakfast with its stunning view was delicious, and the restaurant offered amazing dining experiences at a great price. The staff and guides were fantastic, and we enjoyed the included hike to two waterfalls. The location was also convenient, allowing us to easily explore the nearby Embalse El Yeso and other attractions in Cajón Del Maipo.
