I recently stayed at a hostel in San Pedro that was just four blocks away from the main street. The staff were friendly and helpful, and some of them spoke English. The check-in time was a bit late at 3pm, but overall the hostel provided a comfortable stay. The rooms were simple, but the beds were comfortable compared to other hostels. The location of the hostel was excellent, right in the center of San Pedro. It was convenient for exploring the town and was far enough from the noise. The common showers and bathrooms were always clean, and there were facilities available for cooking. The internet connection was also excellent. The receptionists were very nice, especially a lady from Valencia, Spain who was extremely helpful when I had an issue with a flight cancellation. The hostel also had a couple of friendly cats and a cute small dog to keep you company. I would highly recommend staying at this hostel for its good value for money and great location.
