I recently stayed at the Yellow Submarine in Punta Arenas for a week-long vacation. The owner's personal touch made me feel at home right away. He went above and beyond by visiting me in the hospital and helping me with my medication. The rooms were clean and cozy, with freshly ironed sheets and comfortable beds. The bathrooms had amazing showers, the best I've seen in Patagonia. The attached restaurant was like a rock and roll museum, with vintage posters and interesting memorabilia. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the coast, bus stations, and downtown shopping. a fantastic experience at the Yellow Sub!

I stumbled upon this hidden diamond in the rough and had a great experience at Yellow Submarine. Pedro, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and even allowed me to negotiate on the price of the room, which was important as a backpacker. The room was small but comfortable, with a nice en suite bathroom. Pedro was also very accommodating, allowing me to use the kitchen facilities when needed. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was a great bonus, with proper pints of beer and a diverse menu. The hotel is in a convenient location, just a short walk from the center and the shore. I had a comfortable stay and I would recommend Yellow Submarine to others.

There were a few drawbacks. the rooms lacked windows, only having vents that opened to the hallway, which prevented fresh air from entering.

I felt at home and the owner went above and beyond to help me during my visit, even driving me to the pharmacy after I had health problems.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was close to the bus station and the promenade. It made it convenient to explore the city and go for walks by the water. Additionally, the owner of the hotel was extremely helpful and accommodating. He was always present and went out of his way to assist with any requests or issues that arose during my stay.

One aspect that I did not like about the hotel was the noise level. There was a bar with live music located right next to the hotel, and it could get quite loud, especially during the weekends.

The location of this hotel was perfect, just a block away from the Straits of Magellan and many great restaurants. I also loved the rock and roll theme of the hotel, with posters of the Beatles and other iconic bands decorating the walls.

The hotel is still undergoing renovations, so some areas are not yet fully updated. Additionally, my room had very small windows, which made it feel a bit dark and cramped.
