This hostel is located in a garden area outside, providing a peaceful and scenic environment for guests. It is conveniently close to the bus station, making it easy to access transportation. there is a big supermarket nearby, ensuring that guests have easy access to any necessities they may need. The Cumming subway station is also close by, allowing guests to easily navigate the city.

The noise level at night can be quite high, as guests reported being able to hear people walking on the wooden floors and conversations in the courtyard or smoking area.

Enjoyed freezing in the snow with their clothes rental, and the 24-hour front desk assistance was a real treat. Oh, and the free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver, because who needs to talk to people in person anyway?

The swim-up bar was a disappointment, because let's be honest, swimming while sipping a cocktail is so overrated.

La Casa Roja was a fantastic find! Great value for money with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for exploring, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

For the breakfast selection, it would be great to have more variety to cater to different dietary preferences.

We stayed at this hostel on Christmas day and it was the right decision. The setting is fantastic - a restored colonial mansion with lots of areas to relax and enjoy, including a pool, TV area, and pool room. The staff put on a great lunch and we had a wonderful time by the pool with other guests. The luggage storage was secure and 24-hour check-in was convenient. The kitchen was well organized and fully equipped, and the bathrooms were fine. The overall indoor and outdoor space was beautiful. The hostel had a nice breakfast and a relaxed, friendly vibe.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and festive decorations during my xmas stay. The breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked eggs and bread, along with a variety of juices and fruit salad. The location was perfect, being just a short walk away from the main square and surrounded by great restaurants. Plus, the staff were super friendly and helpful, providing lots of advice about the city and its attractions.

The noise at night was unbearable. The loud music and people talking loudly until 4am made it extremely difficult to sleep.

stayed here before in santiago, but this time la casa roja blew me away. big old mansion, everything working. cool pool bar. only downside: bathroom cleaning was lacking sometimes. overall, highly recommend for solo travelers.
