I recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Beijing during New Year's, and I had a decent experience overall. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the convenient location. It was situated in a lively and safe area, with easy access to the metro station, ATMs, taxis, and various stores and eateries. Another advantage was that the hotel provided free breakfast, which was a nice perk. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay more enjoyable.

There were a couple of things that I didn't particularly like about the hotel. First, the heating system was central and turned on quite late, around 10 pm, so the room was a bit chilly before that.

The value for money is unbeatable, with basic amenities in a traditional Chinese-styled bedroom, including a private bathroom and wifi. My recent stay at the Cute hostel in a good location was absolutely delightful. The hostel is located in a lively street filled with cute shops, laid back bars, and restaurants. It was the perfect base to come back to after a long day of sightseeing in Beijing.

The hostel itself has a restaurant that serves delicious and reasonably priced food. However, the surrounding area is filled with so many great restaurants and street food options that you might prefer to explore those instead.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and basic amenities provided. It's just a short walk from both Nanluoguxiang and Beixinqiao tube stations, making it very convenient for exploring the city.
