Had a pleasant stay during xmas at this hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. the location was also ideal, being very close to the Great Wall cable car. Moreover, the hotel offered a car service to and from the base of the Great Wall, making it convenient for exploring the area.

There were a few minor issues that detracted from the overall experience. the cleanliness of the rooms could have been better, as there were instances where the premises were not fully cleaned before check-in.

Located near the cable car station to the Great Wall, the Brickyard Retreat offers easy access to the most crowded areas. The beautiful nature surrounding the hotel provides a serene atmosphere. The rooms have a sincere personality and offer stunning views of the Great Wall. The staff is friendly and helpful, arranging transportation for guests. The sauna is a highlight of the hotel, providing a relaxing experience.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and attentive, making me feel well taken care of during my stay. The location of the hotel in the mountains was perfect, allowing me to enjoy the surrounding nature and stunning views. Additionally, the transportation provided by the hotel, including the shuttle bus to the Great Wall, made it easy for me to explore the area.

Amazing traditional-style houses with modern amenities and a cozy fireplace. the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. the location also offered stunning views and easy access to the local sights. The traditional architecture combined with modern amenities. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast provided was a bit lacking, with only dry bread and jam offered. the lack of air purifiers in the rooms was noticeable, especially on days with high AQI levels.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved the Jacuzzi and the stunning view of the mountains and the Great Wall from my room. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food was fresh and tasted like it was homemade, and I appreciated all the little details, like the thermos of hot water in my room and the complimentary hand-made straw slippers. The location of the retreat, nestled in a quiet rural area close to the Great Wall, allowed me to access the wall early in the morning before the crowds arrived. The facilities were attractive and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I felt right at home during my stay and couldn't find anything to complain about. The experience was simply wonderful.
