This hostel is beyond my expectations. The staff can communicate well in English, the rooms are quite good, and the decoration is nice. There are plenty of facilities, including a common area with charging plugs, a rooftop with a city view, and daily activities to get to know other guests. The location is also great, with a shopping center and subway station within walking distance.

The hostel's team was brilliant, friendly, and English-speaking. Great location near metro station with easy access to attractions. Private room was good value. Common area and café were convenient. Breakfast options and food/drinks were plentiful. Tours available. Laundry facilities available. Good Wi-fi.

Not one thing.

My stay at Flipflop Hostel Poshpacker was like a home away from home. The staff, Sally and Sherry, went above and beyond to help me with arranging my trip to Tibet and other activities. The hostel's one-stop shopping services made everything so convenient. I also enjoyed the delicious and reasonably priced meals offered throughout the day.

The surroundings are lovely, with a cozy garden and nice facilities. Enjoy movie nights and avail of wifi, although VPN connectivity may be weak. Conveniently located near the subway and pleasant streets, the staff are helpful and speak English. Suitable for short visits to Chengdu.

This hotel is in a great location, right next to a large shopping area and the subway station. You can easily walk to the commercial area and the city center from here. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all basic amenities such as air conditioning and lockers. The breakfast is included and has good taste. The staff are friendly and very helpful, providing you with everything you need.

Everything was perfect.

The location was great, making it easy for us to travel around the city. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and always willing to chat. They even allowed us to have an extra hour for late check-out after our Panda tour. The lobby was cozy and had nice background music. The breakfast was superb, especially after indulging in spicy foods. The rooftop bar was marvelous, perfect for those who enjoy a drink. We had the chance to join the "Ukulele night" and it was amazing to witness the local talent. We also attended a "poem-sharing" evening, which was both touching and amusing. the atmosphere was lovely, and we had a great time socializing with the wonderful people staying at the hostel.

We had a fantastic stay at Flipflop Hostel Poshpacker. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the location was perfect, with a short two minute walk to the metro station and a variety of restaurants nearby. the dorm beds had curtains for added privacy, and the hot water in the shower was a nice touch. the common area was inviting and enjoyable to relax in. it was a great experience.

Loved my stay at Flipflop Hostel Poshpacker! The communal area was perfect for meeting fellow travelers, and there were so many people to connect with. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the heating in the rooms, especially the heated blanket. The staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful. I even took advantage of their tour to the panda base, which was convenient and well-organized.

The hostel is conveniently located near Xinanmen bus station, making it easy to explore the city. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area, providing various dining options. Additionally, the hostel is opposite the communal area, offering a vibrant atmosphere for socializing and meeting other guests.

The bathroom facilities are a bit small and outdated, and the towels provided are worn.

I had a wonderful stay in this city center hotel, with the metro just a 5-minute walk away. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with plenty of restaurants and places to hang out. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was delicious, and I appreciated the convenience of onsite parking.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the evenings were filled with fun activities like the free dumpling making workshop. We also loved the very good and affordable strong beer on tap from a brewery in Tibet. the location was great, near the centre with lots of food options nearby. the hostel had a luxury feel and was beautifully clean. the common area and rooftop terrace were comfortable, and the WiFi was excellent. Plus, they even provided toilet paper, which is rare for hostels in China.
