The Double Happiness Courtyard exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. The location was convenient, close to a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

The only thing that could have been improved was the breakfast choices, which felt a bit limited.

The hotel is conveniently located in an authentic 'hutong' neighborhood, close to the metro which makes it super easy to get around and explore. The rooms are beautifully decorated with old Chinese furniture and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a cozy bar/restaurant where you can enjoy drinks. the hotel offers bicycles for guests to explore the city.

The breakfast options are limited, especially for vegetarians.

Located down a narrow alleyway which makes it a little difficult to find first time, but once you're there it's perfect to see the main sights easily. The rooms were cozy with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for local food and attractions. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of delicious options, from traditional Chinese snacks to fresh fruit. The hotel also had beautiful courtyards and patios to relax in.

The wifi connection was a bit weak and inconsistent in some areas.

We loved the hotel's location close to the Metro, making it super easy to get around this city. It is situated in a quiet Hutong area, down an alley with many homes around it. There are also plenty of small restaurants nearby.

We had a delightful stay at this place. The location is superb, nestled in a traditional Hutong area, surrounded by local neighborhoods set aside for preservation. It gave us a unique and authentic experience of Beijing. The staff could not have been more helpful, always eager to assist with a friendly and fun demeanor. The service provided, including room service and car hire, was excellent. We also appreciated the cleanliness and orderliness of our room. The amenities, such as the sitting area and terrace, added to the comfort of our stay. this place exceeded our expectations and made our visit to Beijing truly memorable.

Mind-blowing authentic Chinese hotel with rich history and charming courtyards. Super friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Jaw-dropping decorations and well-thought-out room designs. Amazing location in a quiet hutong where you can experience local life. Great breakfast with a wide variety of foods. Free tea service in the rooms and reasonable prices for the mini bar. Family-friendly with lots of kids enjoying the courtyard space. Fantastic location in the middle of a hutong, but quiet at night.

I had the most amazing experience at the Beijing Double Happiness Courtyard. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic stay. They assisted me with tours, taxis, and answered all my questions, making me feel completely comfortable exploring the city. The hotel itself was absolutely fascinating, with so many incredible details to enjoy. And I must mention the delicious jasmine tea in the room. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

The staff spoke fluent English and gave great advice about eating and transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety and the room was impeccably clean and warm. Conveniently located near the subway for easy access to the city. Received a parting gift of lovely jasmine tea. Highly recommended.
