I recently stayed at this hotel on the outskirts of Beijing, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The location in a suburban area was perfect for me, as I had business near Tsinghua University and the R&D park. The staff here were very welcoming and provided great service throughout my stay. The room I stayed in was excellent - it was large, well-appointed, and very clean. I appreciated the room amenities such as the ironing facilities, air conditioning, and mini-bar. The free toiletries provided were a nice touch, and I made good use of the electric kettle for my morning coffee. The hotel also had a swimming pool, which was clean and comfortable - a great way to relax after a long day. The free Wi-Fi and parking were also a big plus. I was highly satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

The breakfast at Holiday Inn Beijing Haidian was absolutely amazing. I loved the variety of Asian and Western foods, especially the made-to-order omelets. It was convenient to have the option to eat at the hotel when I didn't feel like going out in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised to find an Indian restaurant in the hotel. The concierge staff was extremely helpful, assisting me with taxi bookings and organizing trips to tourist attractions. Having an English-speaking concierge available was essential and greatly appreciated. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the northern touristy areas, such as the Great Wall, Olympic Village, and Summer Palace. I was overall very happy with my stay.

Spent an amazing New Year's at a hotel in west Beijing, fabulous location near universities and with easy access to sightseeing spots. Large and comfortable room, with the plus of soft and firm pillows, and sparkling bedding. the staff was friendly and ready to help at all times. When I craved a late-night snack, room service was prompt to deliver. the restaurant buffet was excellent, featuring a good variety of eastern and western options.

The room temperature was set at a fixed temperature, which I couldn't adjust, making it a bit challenging for me to regulate my comfort. I had a difficult time communicating my needs to some of the staff, who didn't speak English very well.

The pool is relaxing with a missing non-slip surface. The big tub is nice and the coffee at breakfast is delicious. The bed, comforter, and pillow are comfortable. It is a smoke-free hotel.
