The cleanliness was impeccable, and the surrounding gardens were a delight to stroll around. Additionally, the hotel's location near a subway station made getting around the city a breeze.

I recently stayed at this gem in Shanghai for a few days. The hotel served as the perfect base for my bullet train trips from Hongqiao railway station and domestic flights from Hongqiao airport. It's also conveniently located less than half an hour taxi ride from the French Concession. Surrounded by beautiful green gardens, you wouldn't even think you're in Shanghai. The rooms were clean and comfy, the staff friendly, and the breakfast buffet well worth the extra money. The hotel compound has several buildings, with Building No. 7 being the nicest with wonderful rooms and very comfortable beds.
