Best English TV options in China with CNN, BBC, and three movie channels. Former French Concession district has charming streets and historic buildings.

Absolutely loved the stylish and well-maintained rooms at this hotel. the spread at breakfast was extensive with a wide selection of food, and the location is very convenient for those exploring the city. the staff were excellent, always ready to help and give advice.

The weak TV signal during my 3-night stay was also a letdown. However, these are minor issues and did not detract from an overall wonderful experience at the hotel.

Comfortable stay with excellent service

During my recent stay at Intercontinental in Shanghai, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and assisted with my bags. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, making me feel welcome from the start.

The rooms at Intercontinental Shanghai Ruijin were very spacious and comfortably accommodated our grandson. the staff quickly arranged an extra bed for him, although it was small and less comfortable. they provided extra pillows upon our request. the staff was friendly and courteous. the hotel's location in central Shanghai was excellent for getting around, and the hotel grounds were impressive. the gardens were well kept, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the city noise. the hotel's design gave a nostalgic vibe, and it was a welcoming sight in the evenings when the buildings were lighted up. the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the concierge service, particularly Jimmy, was helpful.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The location in the French Concession area was perfect, as it provided a peaceful and park-like environment in the heart of the city. The proximity to the Shaanxi Road South metro station made transportation a breeze. We also loved the delicious breakfast and the friendly and attentive staff.

the staff is friendly, helpful, and provided us with exceptional service during our stay. Our room, with its stylish interior design, was spacious and clean with all the exclusive advantages we could have hoped for. the Spa & wellness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna, and garden area were perfect to help us relax and unwind. The restaurant had excellent in-room breakfast service, and the bar/lounge area served fantastic drinks. Cons: We only encountered minor issues during our stay. the massage service was not available during our visit.
