I recently stayed at Le Tour Traveler's Rest Hostel in Shanghai for a week and it was an amazing experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the subway station and surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants. The hostel had great recreational facilities including a pool and table tennis tables. The receptionist, Joey, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I would love to stay at this hostel again.

Helpful staff and nice rooftop bar/cafe but lacking character

We had a great stay at Le Tour Traveler's Rest Youth Hostel in Shanghai. The staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us with directions and planning our onward travel. The rooftop bar and cafe were lovely, providing a relaxing atmosphere in the evening. I would still recommend this hostel for its convenient location and friendly staff.

Great location, close to the center with good metro connections. Lovely neighborhood with a wide variety of food options. Decent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and communal areas.

Great location near Jing'an station with good western food and bars/clubs. Affordable price for both dorm beds and couple rooms. Friendly atmosphere with a large common room to meet new people. Nice rooftop area on the fourth floor.

The hostel had a spacious common area with a movie room, which was great for relaxing and watching movies. the location was also convenient, with many restaurants nearby. the hostel had a big kitchen that was perfect for cooking our own meals.

The staff at the hostel were not very helpful. They seemed unmotivated and were unable to provide basic information.
