The rooms are clean and comfortable, with helpful staff and a great breakfast. Guests can also enjoy the view of the bustling shopping street just a few steps away, with wireless coffee shops, bars, and quaint shops that stay open late. It's the perfect spot to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

The mattress could have been a bit softer, but that seems to be a common feature in hotels in this country.

Beautiful courtyard home, authentic Chinese experience, friendly and helpful staff, clean and good shower. Compact room with plenty of communal space. Reasonably priced beverages and good location close to the metro.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a traditional hutong neighborhood. The location was perfect, surrounded by everyday Chinese life yet in an upscale tourist-friendly area. I loved being able to explore Nanluoguxiang on foot and the fact that Lama Temple and Confucius Temple were within walking distance. There was great shopping and delicious places to eat and drink all around. The staff were friendly and the basic amenities were all there. The rooms, although not spacious, were comfortable, clean, and opened out onto one of the courtyards where I could sit outside if I wanted to. The breakfast had a good mix of Chinese and Western options with made-to-order items, breads, fruit, and coffee. All of this came at a price that was hard to beat in the heart of the city.
