This hotel is a luxurious haven, perfectly located alongside a picturesque river. the indoor swimming pool and spa centre offer exclusive amenities that exceed any expectations. the full body massage provided at the spa was relaxing and rejuvenating. the restaurant serves delicious continental breakfast, and the bar/lounge area serves fantastic cocktails. the room was spacious and elegantly furnished, with private facilities that added to the luxuriousness of the stay.

The only minor issue we had was the communication with the staff, as their proficiency in English was limited, but they tried their best to accommodate our needs.

Located in a prime spot a short walk from the main shopping area, this hotel offers easy access to the hustle and bustle. The proximity to the river provides beautiful views and a peaceful ambience, whether in the early hours of the night or during the busy morning with river activities. The spacious rooms and well-appointed bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay, complemented by attentive service. The breakfast spread offers a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, satisfying different palates. Guests can also enjoy the excellent facilities, such as the gym and pool with a jacuzzi overlooking the river.

In general, the hotel met my basic expectations. the location was strategic, making it easy to walk around and explore the city. the facilities appear to be new and well-maintained, with excellent high-speed internet connection. the front desk staff were helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

There were some significant drawbacks. the walls were thin, and you could clearly hear your neighbors.

The hotel and room were chic and tastefully decorated. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to assist us. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection and the staff were friendly. The location along the Yangtze river was outstanding, with easy access to main attractions. The view of the river and the night light show were fantastic.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Marco Polo hotel and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's VIP lounge provided an excellent space to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The service from the staff was exceptional, with their eagerness to please shining through. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and unique, offering a great value for the money. The buffet, although sometimes with unfamiliar food items for westerners, was huge and satisfying. The hotel's location right on the Yangtze river provided a new and mesmerizing view, especially from the river-facing rooms. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed, truly adding to the overall comfort of the stay. Despite the slightly sparse breakfast, the hotel's lobby featuring high-end fashion stores showcased the luxury and style found within the hotel. While there may not have been many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, the room service offered reasonably priced and decent meals. I would highly recommend the Marco Polo hotel for its newness, view, and luxurious experience.
