We loved the spacious building and room, especially the big wide bed. The bathroom was also spacious. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the shared swimming pool and health club with the adjacent Sofitel hotel. We enjoyed the continental breakfast with its impressive and sumptuous choices. The staff provided great service and were super friendly, speaking English fluently. The location was convenient, within walking distance to shopping malls and the Muslim food street.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in the heart of Xi'an. As I entered the park area where the hotel is nestled, I felt like I was transported back in time. The hotel, although from 1957, has been meticulously maintained and boasts modern amenities. The room I stayed in had a sophisticated light system that required a brief tutorial, adding to the unique experience. The spacious restaurant offered a delightful breakfast buffet, making me imagine that Chairman Mao himself might walk in alongside Soviet first secretary Khrushchev. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable stay.

Great location! the hotel is situated in a nice and quiet area, but still within walking or cycling distance to the bustling bell tower area. This made it convenient for me to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. Additionally, the staff at the reception were very helpful and accommodating. They tried their best to assist me during my stay, even allowing me to visit their sister hotel's restaurant since theirs was closed.

On the downside, the hotel felt a bit dated. the rooms and facilities could use some updating to match modern standards.

The buffet meal at Sofitel Azure Restaurant was the highlight of our holiday with a wide variety of 5-star prepared food. The hotel is great value for money and located within a tranquil and secure compound.
