I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was one of the best features as it was situated right next to the Metro station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Additionally, the hotel was located in a reasonable mid-price region near Zhongshan Park, which was a major transportation hub with multiple metro lines converging in a station directly underneath a shopping mall.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

I recently stayed at Pentahotel for a few nights during my trip to Shanghai. The location was excellent, with easy access to the metro station, supermarkets, popular tourist attractions, a variety of restaurants. The breakfast offered a great selection and a pleasant atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed having a bath in my room. The hotel's bar downstairs was also a nice spot to relax.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with large beds and basic amenities provided. Guests can also enjoy a balanced breakfast with both Chinese and Western options in the restaurant.

Some noisy guests in the mornings can disrupt a peaceful stay.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was so unique, right along the metro line and super easy to get to from the airport. There were plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and department stores nearby, making it incredibly convenient for all our needs. Plus, the subway station was just a stone's throw away, making it really easy to explore the city. The staff here were absolutely incredible, so attentive and friendly. They made sure to recognize us as guests and went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Special shoutout to Lance, Sam, Elena, and the rest of the staff who made us feel so welcome!

Our only small complaint would be that they didn't fully understand our request for a "double shot" coffee. But honestly, that's such a minor issue and definitely wouldn't deter us from recommending this hotel to families.

Had a great Thanksgiving stay at this hotel! Loved the vintage design, it was very comfortable. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the food was amazing, especially the breakfast buffet. Two complementary facts made our stay even more enjoyable. the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the air conditioning was on point. Great location, the subway station was just a few steps away and made it easy to explore the city. loved that there were many restaurants and shops in the area.

The room and bathroom were quite small and there was a lot of construction noise outside, but thankfully we weren't bothered by it. we found it difficult to find a taxi that was willing to take us on short rides.
