The Golden Tulip Shanghai Rainbow in Shanghai exceeded my expectations. Excellent value, helpful staff, and stunning views from high floors. Proximity to Shanghaimart and other interesting areas was a highlight. Lovely staff, great buffet breakfast, and picturesque outdoor seating area. Self-operated washing machines and dryers were so convenient. Special mention to Yuko Handa for being a helpful angel. Tastefully decorated and clean rooms with comfortable beds.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location was perfect for exploring the city center, as it was conveniently close to the nearest metro station and shopping mall. It was a bit difficult to access public transport, but the hotel offered car hire services which made getting around a breeze. The room service was excellent, and the staff really gave good service. The hotel had a wide range of amenities such as dry cleaning, 24-hour room service, and tours/ticket assistance. I especially loved the spa & wellness center and indoor swimming pool, they were perfect for relaxation after a long day of sightseeing.

Unpleasant smell and moisture in the room. Housekeeping staff ignored Do Not Disturb sign and had poor quality service.

The hotel staff, especially Yuko Handa, was friendly and always ready to help with any query or request. Additionally, the hotel was situated in a pleasant neighborhood, away from the busy tourist areas.

The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight of my trip, with amazing views and friendly staff. the breakfast selection was also great, with plenty of options to choose from. the location was convenient for exploring the city, with shops and restaurants nearby.

My room faced a busy street, so it was quite noisy at night. the air conditioning was a bit difficult to control, and I had trouble getting the temperature just right.

The room was spacious with a separate bathroom and shower, which was a nice touch. We particularly enjoyed the executive floor's breakfast on the 30th floor with a fantastic view and quiet ambiance. The free cocktails hour in the executive lounge was also a great perk. The hotel staff provided excellent personal service and the executive lounge never felt crowded. we felt very comfortable and well taken care of during our stay.
