Staying at this hotel was an indulgent experience. the exclusive amenities provided made me feel like royalty. From the exceptional service of the English-speaking staff to the luxurious Spa lounge, the amenities were top-notch. the outdoor swimming pool provided stunning views of the surrounding garden area. the heated swimming pool and the Jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploration. the beach access and the pool with a view were some of the location advantages that added to the appeal of this venue.

The only minor issue was the limited number of staff members available at the spa & wellness centre, which was understandable due to current reasons. the complex Sauna and Steam rooms were not working.

Spent Christmas at a hotel in Sanya. the spacious and comfortable rooms were a plus. the breakfast buffet was amazing, it had every counter manned by a friendly team member to help guests. loved the surprise toiletries in the room.

The biggest disappointment was the beach, not clean and even, unready for use. Private taxi recommended by the hotel front desk as it was difficult to call one on our own.

Capella Tufu Bay, Hainan in Sanya truly exceeded our expectations. The service attitude of the staff was outstanding, from reception to housekeeping to the F&B team. The daily breakfast offered was excellent and the staff were attentive. The happy hour evenings at the bar with complimentary drinks and live music were delightful. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the rooms to the decoration, made us feel special and pampered.

The design of Capella Tufu Bay is absolutely stunning, and I was truly impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel. One particular highlight was the romantic in-water dining experience arranged by Cathy, which was simply breathtaking. Additionally, Daniel went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, taking the time to personally show us to our villa and even capturing precious moments with our girls through photographs. The service attitude of the staff, from reception to housekeeping to the F&B team, was exceptional. The daily breakfast was excellent, with dedicated staff members at each counter to assist guests. The happy hour evenings at the bar were enjoyable, with complimentary drinks and special cocktails, accompanied by beautiful music from the resident duo. Capella Tufu Bay exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend this gem of a hotel in Sanya.

While the property is expansive, the distance between the facilities and the rooms could be quite a walk, taking around 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, the beach was not ready for use and transportation was a bit challenging, with difficulty calling taxis and the need for a private taxi recommended by the front desk.
