We absolutely loved our stay at this boutique hotel in Tongli! The location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the historic area, next to three ancient bridges and the waterfront. We were within walking distance of all the main attractions in the city. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The breakfast offered a delicious spread of both traditional Chinese cuisine and western food. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even provided us with helpful tips on restaurants and attractions in the area.

Loved our stay at Tongli 1917! The location was perfect and I was warmly welcomed by the owner. They even helped me with my luggage to the guesthouse. The antique-style room was beautifully decorated, and to my surprise, I had two bathrooms. I also had access to a small sitting room. The attention to detail made my stay special. I highly recommend staying overnight in Tongli as it's peaceful without the day tourists. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, right by a canal and next to three ancient bridges in the heart of old Tongli. Being so close to the main attractions made it incredibly convenient for exploring the town. The staff here are simply amazing, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. They provided excellent room service, car hire, and even organized tours and assistance with tickets. The room itself was fantastic, with air conditioning, a comfortable sitting area, and a flat-screen TV for relaxation. The hotel also had a beautiful garden area where I could unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We had a wonderful time staying at a charming hotel with a beautiful courtyard and cozy rooms. the caretaker was very helpful and attentive. the location was perfect, close to the water and three ancient bridges. We also enjoyed the lovely roses that were blooming all around the property. Plus, the light breakfast was just the right amount to get us started for the day.

The hotel could improve in a few areas. it was difficult to find and navigate to the property.

The owner of Tongli 1917 Best South Boutique Inn was incredibly helpful during our stay. They went above and beyond to assist us with travel arrangements and provide valuable advice about the area. The beautiful Chinese-style design of the inn created a unique and cozy atmosphere. Despite the slight inconvenience of a cool living area, the location near the canal was fantastic. We also appreciated the quietness of the hotel and the comfortable bedrooms. I highly recommend this hotel for a charming and memorable experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in a historical building. The location was perfect, right on the canal and in the heart of all the main attractions. The room was lovely, with antique furniture that gave it a traditional Chinese feel. The staff were exceptional and made us feel right at home, providing excellent service and even recommending local restaurants. The hotel had a charming garden and even some adorable pets, including a friendly dog and a dancing parrot. it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend staying here to our friends.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The owner was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. the location of the hotel was excellent, right by a canal and very convenient for shops and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, which made us feel at home.

The living area downstairs remained cool despite the heating being on, so if you are bothered by the cold, it might be better to visit during spring or autumn. We also found the presence of multiple CCTV cameras in the common areas of the hotel to be unnecessary and invasive.
