The excellent service at the Wyndham Grand started before I'd even arrived. The concierge Jack was extremely helpful in organising a car to collect me from Hong Kong airport and deliver me to the hotel following a very long journey. As soon as I arrived, I was informed I had been given a free upgrade to a suite on a higher level floor. The room and the view was simply beautiful. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the added bonus of access to the lounge was particularly useful as I was travelling alone, so I could go and grab a drink and a snack without having to go out and dine alone in a restaurant. The staff were brilliant and very helpful in arranging multiple taxis for various meetings for me too.

I was also pleasantly surprised when the hotel decorated the room for my birthday and even gave me a complimentary cake and fruits. The location, though not the most convenient, still offered good value for money and had plenty of food options nearby. Additionally, the view of the city from the swimming pool was breathtaking.

As someone with limited Mandarin skills, I was initially worried about communication, but Hassan and his team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They even made an effort to speak English and ensure that my needs were met. The hotel room was lovely, and the food served was of high quality. The location was also convenient, with easy access to the subway and nearby office buildings, malls, restaurants, and shops. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The location of this hotel was perfect, just a short walk to the train station. the staff were friendly and spoke English well. One of the best things about this hotel was the surprise birthday cake they gave me and my children. It had candles, a lighter, and serving plates - a delightful surprise!
