I was amazed by the beautiful Roman-style architecture of Casa Pombo. Walking through the doors felt like stepping into a tranquil oasis, with pools, lush plants, and the calming sound of rippling water. The location couldn't be better, right next to the cathedral but still peaceful at night. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, providing much-needed relief from the heat. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. And of course, the delicious arrepa breakfast was a delightful start to each day. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, like the lack of kitchen supplies and a bit of street noise, I would definitely recommend Casa Pombo to anyone. I had a wonderful time and would happily return.

The breakfast was amazing! They had a great selection of fresh fruits, traditional dishes, and an omelet station. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town and only a few steps away from fantastic restaurants. We also loved the rooftop pool and lounge area, it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

Our room was a bit outdated and could have been cleaner. the stairs leading up to our room were also quite steep and a bit of a challenge to navigate with luggage.
