the owner, Miguel, and his staff were attentive, warm, and helpful. Miguel's perfect English was a bonus in a city where very few people speak English. the hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and surprisingly quiet. After a long day, it was a treat to come back to a hotel that offered a cool jacuzzi, a cold beer, and a relaxing courtyard with hammocks and lounge chairs. the free breakfast was also a great bonus. I would highly recommend Casa Verde to anyone planning on staying in Santa Marta.

I had an excellent and comfortable stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they even arranged a late-night airport taxi for my arrival. The rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot to relax, especially at night. I also loved that breakfast was included and it was absolutely delicious. The hotel is in a great location, centrally located and close to everything. Another advantage was that the room was well air-conditioned before my arrival.

That the shower didn't have much water pressure. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Over Thanksgiving, my partner and I had a wonderful stay in Santa Marta. Our hotel had free beers in the fridge, which was such a nice touch! the location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants and bars. We also enjoyed the comfortable bed and clean room.

Our room was quite dark and didn't have much natural light. the water pressure in the morning was weak and made it hard to flush the toilet.

I had an amazing stay at a charming boutique hotel in the center of the historic town. The room was tidy and comfortable, with a nice rooftop and a refreshing pool available. The owner personally greeted us and provided useful advice in excellent English. The breakfast options were delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also loved that the hotel promotes fair trade handicrafts by local indigenous groups. Highly recommended!

The lighting in the room was a bit dim, which made it difficult to see properly. Unfortunately, I encountered a bedbug during my stay, which was a major inconvenience.
