We recently stayed at a hotel in downtown Santa Marta and had a wonderful time. the rooms at Catedral Plaza were modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. the beds were especially comfortable, making it difficult to get up in the mornings. the hotel also had a lovely rooftop with a pool offering stunning views of the sunset. the staff were friendly and helpful, always available to answer our questions about Santa Marta. it was a great value for the money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved the convenience of being able to explore the city's historic center, with its fascinating old buildings and rich history. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views, and the pool, although small, provided a refreshing dip. The restaurant served delicious food, some of the best we had during our time in the country. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The room itself was comfortable and attractive, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel. we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I had a very comfortable stay at Catedral Plaza in Santa Marta. The rooftop pool was amazing with great views of the city. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially Yini at the front desk who went above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its central location, nice views, and excellent amenities.

The two complimentary drinks offered at check-in were a nice touch, and the location was very convenient, close to restaurants and shops. the swimming pool had a great view and was the best part of the stay.

The room was not the cleanest and had a lot of noise from the surrounding area. the staff was not very helpful in addressing our concerns, and the key card reader on the door was not working properly.

I was amazed by the outstanding service I received during my stay at Catedral Plaza. Elda Arias Martinez, from the front check-in desk, went above and beyond to help arrange a wheelchair for my wife who had an injured foot. She even called our airline to arrange the same assistance at both Santa Marta and Bogota airports. Elda made sure we were taken care of from start to finish, making our stay in Santa Marta truly memorable. The pool area on the 6th floor rooftop was also a highlight, offering a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy the excellent service from the restaurant staff. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and wonderful amenities.

The room was on the smaller side and had an internal window, making it a bit darker than I would have preferred. Additionally, the breakfast options were not as impressive as I expected, considering the price of the hotel.

I had a lovely stay at a hotel in Santa Marta with an amazing rooftop pool and terrace. The internal room they moved me to was perfect for a good night's sleep. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The rooftop pool and bar were fantastic, and the breakfast overlooking the mountains was a nice touch. Despite some minor drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel overall.
